This series of reports provide an in-depth view of the hospital formulary decision-making process by therapeutic area. Through a survey of hospital pharmacy directors and clinicians that sit on their hospital's P&T committee, we are able to understand the influence of cost factors, clinical factors, and product attributes on formulary decisions. In addition, Hospital Formulary Insights provides information on the formulary status of key brands and why drugs are or are not included on hospital formulary. Three reports are planned in the areas of infectious diseases and cardiovascular.
